1. General Health and Safety
1.1 Health and Safety Guidelines
- a. You must adhere to all health and safety signs throughout the facility.
- b. You must adhere to all displayed House Rules.
- c. If any instruction or rule is unclear, you must ask a member of staff for clarification.
1.2 Emergency Safety
- a. Fire exits are clearly marked throughout the premises.
- b. In case of a fire or alarm, please follow staff instructions immediately, use the nearest exit, and assemble in the designated area.
1.3 Accidents and Injuries
- a. Any accidents, slips, or injuries must be reported to a member of staff or the manager on duty immediately.
1.4 Smoking and Intoxication
- a. Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited in all areas of the facility.
- b. Entering the facility under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or illegal substances is strictly forbidden. Staff reserve the right to refuse entry without a refund.
2. Behaviour and Use of Facilities
2.1 Behaviour and Attire
- a. Clients are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and other guests at all times.
- b. Appropriate swimwear (bathing suits, swim shorts) must be worn at all times. Full nudity is strictly prohibited.
- c. Inappropriate, disruptive, or disrespectful behaviour may result in immediate removal from the premises without a refund.
2.2 Food and Drink
- a. Glassware, crockery, or personal food items are not permitted inside the sauna cabins or near the cold plunge pools. Only reusable plastic/metal water bottles are allowed.
2.3 Animals
- a. No animals are permitted inside the facility, with the exception of registered assistance dogs.
3. Personal Belongings
3.1 Liability for Belongings
- a. Clients are solely responsible for their personal belongings, valuables, and clothing.
- b. Sauna & Soul accepts no liability for any lost, stolen, or damaged items left on the premises.
4. Use of Sauna Heater
4.1 Heater Safety & Steam
- a. The saunas are set to operate at traditional, optimal temperatures (typically 75–90°C).
- b. Exercise extreme caution around the sauna heater elements, as touching them will cause severe burns.
- c. To prevent damage to the heaters and avoid sudden scolding steam, do not throw excessive amounts of water onto the stones. Use the designated ladles appropriately. Do not pour any liquids other than water onto the stones.
5. Photography and Videos
5.1 Privacy & Personal Use
- a. You may take photos or videos for personal use or social media, but you must ensure you have the explicit permission of any other individuals present in the frame.
- b. Under no circumstances is photography or videography permitted in changing areas, shower spaces, or toilets.
6. Booking, Rescheduling, and Cancellations
6.1 Booking Policies
- a. Sessions must be pre-booked online via our booking system. Late arrival will reduce your session time, and missed bookings are non-refundable.
- b. Sauna & Soul operates an over-18 policy unless a specific family session or event is explicitly designated. Valid ID may be requested.
6.2 Rescheduling & Cancellations
- a. Bookings can be rescheduled or cancelled for a full account credit up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled session time.
- b. You can cancel or reschedule your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your session. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are non-refundable
- c. Cancellations can be made through Momence. If a cancellation is made with 24 hours notice you will receive a session credit back for use at a future session. Cancellations within 24 hours count as a late cancellation, with no credits reimbursed.
6.3 Facility Maintenance & Disruptions
- a. Sauna & Soul works hard to ensure all saunas, plunges, and facilities are operating perfectly. However, in rare cases of emergency maintenance, utility issues, or safety pauses, we reserve the right to close sections of the facility. Affected clients will be notified and issued a rescheduled slot or credit voucher.
7. Health and Wellness
7.1 Medical Conditions
- a. Using high-heat sauna rooms and extreme cold plunge pools puts demand on the body and may not be suitable for individuals with certain health conditions, including but not limited to:
- i. Cardiovascular issues (e.g., high or low blood pressure, heart disease).
- ii. Respiratory illnesses or asthma.
- iii. Pregnancy.
- iv. Open wounds, recent surgeries, or skin conditions.
- v. Any medical condition exacerbated by sudden temperature changes.
- b. If you have any concerns regarding your health or medical history, you must consult a healthcare professional before visiting.

7.2 Contagious Illnesses
- a. To maintain the highest hygienic standards, you must not use the facility if you are suffering from an infectious illness, fever, cough, flu, or contagious skin condition.
7.3 Client Responsibility
- a. You are solely responsible for monitoring your own physical limits during the contrast therapy sessions. If you experience dizziness, nausea, fainting, or severe discomfort, you must exit the area immediately and alert a member of staff.
8. Liability Waiver
8.1 Acceptance of Risk
- a. By completing a booking and entering the Sauna & Soul facility, you acknowledge that contrast therapy carries inherent physical risks.
- b. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of the heat, cold, and premises, and agree that Sauna & Soul is not liable for any injuries or adverse health effects arising from your participation or failure to follow safety guidelines.
